What Do You Do When Your Downline Complains That Nothing Works

Overall, we have had a phenomenal start to the week and the month. Like I said before, I knew there would be a marked improvement in activity and results but even I have been surprised in the number of hits and sign ups that myself and some team members are achieving. With Labor Day Weekend over, and the beginning of September here, it is now the end of the vacation period - when things are always a little slow. People are now thinking about making money for Christmas.

From now until Christmas you will get a far better response to your advertising than Summer - when people have been on vacation. So if you haven't already done so, get your advertising out there so that you can have a share of the money that is being spent on programs such as ours.


Now, as we all know, there is no such thing as a free lunch. We have all heard that 95% of internet marketers fail to earn online, and there are reasons for this.


When I first started out, I jumped from one business to another and I soon realized that it wasn't as easy as sending out an ad and loads of people signing up, (How great would that be). After years of doing this, I realized that it took patience and persistence, lot's of persistence. Surfing Traffic Exchanges everyday, sending out ads every day on Safelists and ptc programs, ppc, classifieds, reading. learning and understanding that success doesn't necessarily happen overnight.


Over the years I understood that it took work. I didn't have to spend hours at the computer but I had to be active. I just never had a good enough business to promote, until 'EZ Wealth Solution' came onto my radar, and the rest as they say, is history!.


I have taken this below excerpt from a great Marketing e-book that a po3 member brought to my attention, which helps explains one of the reasons why people fail online:

2. Lack of Activity

This one will drive you nuts if you are a leader in your organization. You find somebody great, they have all the skills, they are willing to invest in their business, they look good, smell good, sound good, but they don't DO anything! And you spend your time coaxing, prodding,inviting, chauffering, paying for their convention ticket, but in the end it's all a waste of time. Remember the statistic: 95% fail in ANYTHING? Well, this is a major reason why. And you can't do much about this, all you can control is you. Here's the best advice I can give on this:

1. If you want your team to go into momentum, YOU have to go into momentum.
2. Work with the willing. Those that would rather watch the season finale of latest reality show, rather than work their business, just aren't going to the top with you. Don't waste your time. Keep looking!

If a person is struggling with activity, it's probably for one simple reason: They don't want it bad enough. If
their why is big the how becomes easy. But again, you can't fix this, you simply have to go through the numbers until you find those passionate few that really want success, then sprint with them. If you are personally struggling with your activity level, you need to evaluate your why. You simply don't have enough passion for what you're doing.
